Summary:
Tomei's book provides a comprehensive collection of case studies, empirical research, conceptual demonstrations, and best practices on Web-enabled learning technologies. This comprehensive, six-volume collection addresses all prominent aspects of online and distance learning, including information communication technologies applied to education, virtual classrooms, pedagogical systems, Web-based learning communities, library information systems, virtual universities, and numerous other topics.
Assessment:
Tomei is an associate vice President for Academic Affairs and an associate Professor, secondary Education & Graduate Studies. What's more, he works in the School of Education and Social Science of the Robert Morris University. Thus, his source is credible to me.
Reflection:
Tomei's book offers some specific details about distance learning. It illustrate that information communication by computer online can contribute to education process. This types of learning is absolutely a great method of education. Therefore, his source is indispensable to my research because of his unique opinions about distance learning.

2. Price, Bob.(2008,June 28). Defining quality student feedback in distance learning. Journal of Advanced Nursing. (26.1)154-160. Retrieved from:

Summary:
Price's book offers the quality of students' feedback about distance learning is very important. An understanding of quality to feedback begins with an appreciation of the role of distance learning course tutors and the education models which can usefully guide them. Quality also relies upon a close evaluation of support to students as courses are planned, launched and then monitored through course boards or their equivalent.
Assessment:
Bob Price is a lecturer in Distance Learning, RCN Institute, London, England. Thus, his book is credible because it offers students' feedback about distance learning in details.
Reflection:
Bob Price's book offers the specific details about feedback from students about distance learning. Thanks to my research about feedback since online courses appeared, this source is necessary to my research, which will support my topic and help me to solve problems.

Summary:
This book introduces that there's many forms of e-learning. It has become an important part in distance learning. However, nonconstructive design principles are difficult to implement because developers must be able to predict how students perceive the tasks and whether the tasks motivate the students. It presents a study that provides increased insight into the actual perception of electronic authentic learning tasks.
Assessment:
They comes from Leiden University in the Netherlands, Open University of the Netherlands, Open University of Germany, and Utrecht University in the Netherlands separately. They are all professors in these  universities. I believe their book is credible to me.
Reflection:
This book introduces the the learning style of distance learning. Moreover, it also illustrate the motivation way during online courses. This source is absolutely necessary to my research topic.

Summary:
This book offers that support for student learning is a key element in optimizing student learning experiences in any learning environment and its importance has been widely discussed. Three categories of support were identified and used for the purpose of this study: instructional, peer, and technical support. A total of 110 students completed an online survey on students' perceptions of support and course satisfaction in an undergraduate online course at a large southeastern university. The results showed perceived support was significantly related to their overall satisfaction of the online course.
Assessment:
The authors are Instructional or Multimedia Developer in the Office of Educational Technology and Assessment at the University of South Florida, Director of the Office of Educational Technology and Assessment at the University of South Florida, Instructional Designer in the Office of Educational Technology and Assessment at the University of South Florida and a program Professor of Instructional Technology and Distance Education at Nova Southeastern University. Thus, their sources are credible.
Reflection:
This book introduces the importance of students' support. Moreover, it also explain that teachers should communicate what types of support are available to students and provide an easy way of accessing and taking advantage of the support. Therefore, it is indispensable to my research.

context in a distance education environment. Cardinalscholar.bsu.edu:

from: https://cardinalscholar.bsu.edu/handle/handle/180976

Summary:
This article describes and improves understanding of adult students' experiences of learning in an interactive computer-mediated communications context in a distance education environment. It also shows that the computer-mediated course was designed by the instructor to support active and collaborative learning among students at a distance.
Assessment:
The author is a professor in the Dept. of Educational Leadership of Ball State University. This article comes from universities libraries. Therefore, it's credible.
Reflection:
This article helps me to understand the style of distance learning is related to an interactive computer-mediated communications. What's more, five influences, implications for future Internet-based distance course design and development included the need for opportunities for students to establish connections with peers early in the course and the need for learner input into course content will be understood deeply, which is helpful to my research topic.

as online participation. Computers & Education. Sciencedirect.com:

(52.1) 78-82. Retrieved from:
http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0360131508000997
Summary:
In this book, an initial theory of online learning as online participation is suggested. It is argued that online learner participation is a complex process of taking part and maintaining relations with others. And it is supported by physical and psychological tools. Thirdly, it is not synonymous with talking or writing. Fourthly, it is supported by all kinds of engaging activities. Participation and learning are argued to be inseparable and jointly constituting. The implication of the theory is straightforward: If we want to enhance online learning, we need to enhance online learner participation.
Assessment:
The author is a professor about computer and systems science in the Department of Information Science of Uppsala University. Thus, his source is credible.
Reflection:
The book offers the theory about distance learning, especially about the styles and importance of participation. Thus, owing to my research topic about the style of distance learning, it is crucial to my research.

  1. Excellent resources for your topic, but you'll need to double check the APA format using the APA Style cheat sheet to correct the errors. The annotations were well done.

You'll want to correct the APA style before the Annotated Bibliography is due later this semester.
