Shiyao Zhang's HW2

Recently, I have heard that my friend took online course last semester. Having taken it, he thought that distancing learning was effective to him. What's more, he advised me to take online courses as quick as possible. Thus, I'm thinking of taking this kind of courses. The main question is: What's the advantage of distance learning. The first broadened question is: What are the impacts of distance learning. The second broadened question is: Should all universities use the plan of online courses. The first narrowed question is: What's the impacts of distance learning to students in the U.S. The second narrowed question is: When did the plan of distance learning come out.

Jason's HW1(B)

In this semester, I have an interest in researching the subject of  distance learning. In order to achieve my goal, I divide the subject to three topics, including the way that professors teach in the distance learning courses, the method that students interact during the class, and the future plan that distance learning may exceed traditional learning in the university. I find these three topic interesting because with the development of technology, distance learning became a part of students' future learning plan. What's more, distance learning is a new method that attracts us more. Therefore, distance learning has a huge impact to our daily life.
Overall, these three topics are connected to each other. The primary two topics are the basic ideas of distance learning. Moreover, the last one is based on the primary two topics because the new way of teaching will affect students' future learning. Last but not least, I believe that students who prefer the new method in studying will care about the new way of learning in the university.

Jason's HW1(A)

In modern society nowadays, technology has become more and more popular with the development of science. In order to contribute my effort on the development of  technology, I select electrical engineering as my major. The reason is that I'm interested in the area of technology since I learned physics in the middle school. Thus, I still want to research the area of technology in this semester especially in the the part of distance learning, because I think that I still have a large amount of misunderstanding parts in technology even though I have learnt a lot until now.
As far as I know, distance learning is a great way of studying in the university because of the basis of online sources. In addition, students who has chosen this kind of courses can stay at home and learn. However,  I still have three questions about it. First of all, how professors teach this kind of courses. Then, how do students interact with each other without communicating face to face? Last but not least, will distance learning take the place of regular learning in the university now?
